Hart Matthews, DVH
Hart Matthews is a graduate of the Caduceus Institute of Classical Homeopathy. Hart did his clinical training with several homeopaths in North Carolina and California and has had his own clients since 2006. He opened Dynamis Homeopathic Healing in Durham, North Carolina, in the spring of 2008.
Hart is not a licensed medical practitioner (doctor, physician). Homeopaths are not licensed in North Carolina, and Hart does not diagnose or treat specific medical conditions. As a classical homeopath, Hart works with individual clients to make them stronger and healthier. Many people who choose homeopathy find that this heals long-standing conditions and makes them feel better overall.
Hart's story
When I came to homeopathy for help with debilitating allergies, I had lived for decades on antihistamines and decongestants and anti-inflammatories and antibiotics. Homeopathy showed me how to stop fighting my own body and let it heal itself.
After homeopathy also helped my wife and my oldest child with their severe asthma, I decided to make a change of careers. Little did I know then that the study of homeopathy would bring a magic back into my life that I hadn't experienced since childhood. It is so rewarding now to watch homeopathic care restore energy and life and a sense of purpose to my clients.
My practice is in its early stages yet, and my clientele is varied right now. But most of my clients suffer from some form of the pervasive modern malaise we label "depression." I love watching them blossom as the remedy reveals the old habits that keep them ill at ease and prevent them living to their potential.
As my practice grows, I hope to work more with parents and kids together. Some of my most rewarding experiences have been watching families change as family members become more accepting of each other.
