Nutrition
The Weston A. Price Foundation
From their website: "The Weston A. Price Foundation is a nonprofit, tax-exempt charity founded in 1999 to disseminate the research of nutrition pioneer Dr. Weston Price, whose studies of isolated nonindustrialized peoples established the parameters of human health and determined the optimum characteristics of human diets. Dr. Price's research demonstrated that humans achieve perfect physical form and perfect health generation after generation only when they consume nutrient-dense whole foods and the vital fat-soluble activators found exclusively in animal fats."

Learning Homeopathy
At the bottom of this page is a short list of schools that teach homeopathy.
If you are interested in self-study, the following books are recommended for those just getting into homeopathy. These are all available at the wonderful Minimum Price Homeopathic Books.
Note: A "materia medica" is a dictionary of remedies with extensive listings of signs, symptoms and indications for each. A "repertory" is an index of symptoms that lists remedies for each symptom.
- Getting Started:
- Organon of Medicine, 6th edition - The final work on homeopathic theory and practice by the founder of homeopathy, Dr. Samuel Hahnemann.
- Pocket Manual of Homeopathic Materia Medica by William Boericke, M.D. - Many peoples' first homeopathic reference book, complete with a small clinical repertory.
- Materia Medica of Homeopathic Medicines by Dr. S. R. Phatak - A much expanded and updated materia medica along the lines of Boericke's (but without a repertory).
- Homeopathic Dictionary and Holistic Health Reference by Jay Yasgur - Helpful for translating the 19th century English that still pervades much of homeopathy.
- More Advanced:
- Repertory of the Homeopathic Materia Medica by Dr. James Tyler Kent - A much more thorough repertory than the one included with Boericke's materia medica.
- Homeopathic Drug Pictures by M. L. Tyler - Dr. James Tyler Kent was the first homeopath to teach materia medica in holistic "drug pictures." Tyler was one of his star pupils who went on to expand this work after his death.
- The Genius of Homeopathy by Stuart Gross, M.D. - A personal favorite.

The Science of Homeopathy
There have been dozens of good studies of homeopathy performed over the last hundred-plus years. Some of these have been patient studies, some have been physical studies, but most of these studies have found homeopathy either to be effective medical care or to have measurable effects on biological processes like starch hydrolysis.

Secrets of Homeopathy, by John Benneth
